Purpose
This policy governs attendance, participation, conduct, giveaways, and operational conditions for live events hosted or delivered by McFarland Global Trust, including in-person, hybrid, and virtual formats.
1. Event Changes, Suspension & Termination
McFarland Global Trust reserves the right to modify, reschedule, suspend, or terminate any event, in whole or in part, at any time where necessary due to operational, safety, legal, or unforeseen circumstances. Reasonable efforts will be made to notify participants of material changes.
2. Giveaways, Prizes & Financial Incentives
Where events include giveaways, prizes, or financial incentives:
Eligibility criteria will be communicated in advance
Participation does not guarantee receipt of any prize
All decisions relating to eligibility, selection, and distribution are final
Prizes are non-transferable and may be substituted at our discretion where required
This policy operates in accordance with applicable Australian Consumer Law and relevant international regulations.
3. Conduct & Behaviour
Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully at all times. Harassment,
disruption, intimidation, abuse, or conduct that compromises safety, integrity, or
the experience of others will not be tolerated.
McFarland Global Trust reserves the right to remove participants or
terminate access immediately, without refund,
where behaviour is deemed inappropriate or harmful.
4. Safety, Security & Compliance
Participants must comply with venue rules, safety instructions, and applicable laws.
Failure to do so may result in removal from the event.
We are not responsible for personal belongings, travel arrangements, or third-party services.
5. Recording, Media & Intellectual Property
Events may be recorded or photographed for operational, educational, or
promotional purposes. Attendance constitutes consent to reasonable use
of recordings unless otherwise stated.
Unauthorised recording, reproduction, or
distribution of event content is prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, McFarland Global Trust disclaims liability for indirect,
incidental, or consequential loss arising from event participation. Attendance is at the participant’s own risk.
7. Right to Refuse Entry or Participation
McFarland Global Trust reserves the right to refuse entry, deny participation, or
revoke access where there is reasonable belief of malicious intent, risk to safety, or breach of policy.
